I had an hour to kill between meetings today and so went to one of my favourite places in the world; if you’ve been there you know quite how much amazing they’ve packed into the room. If you’ve never been there and you like aeroplanes then go, it’s free and it’s genuinely a place of wonder.
I hope it never changes.

There are suggested/voluntary donations
but I agree, it's a fantastic place.
There are loads of world leading great free places in London - IWM, National Gallery, NPG, British Museum, Natural History Museum
One thing that annoys me is that the labelling on each item can be hard to read. It would be great if they had QR codes where you could download all the historical info.

I did almost give them a fiver but I’d already given an Indian special needs school charity £5 before I went in.

Don’t forget the V&A, an absolutely amazing place. We are very fortunate in this country to have the access to incredible knowledge and artefacts - it’s just a shame that more domestic people don’t take advantage of it.

The Deutsches Museum has a pretty decent setup too if you ever get to go, plus the extra collection at Flugwerft Schleißheim.
A few years ago I had a dinner that rented out the Deutsches Museum for the evening so we had our tables in the aircraft exhibition.
Thanks, I will look that up.A few years ago I had a dinner that rented out the Deutsches Museum for the evening so we had our tables in the aircraft exhibition.
