For £11? Yes, exceptionally good. For £125? No imho.

As above, depends what you want to play. If it's just civi stuff in FS then yeah that'll do.

I have the (possibly older version of) thrustmeter HOTAS (the central joystick and throttle stick on the left) and it's pretty good for the price. Thrustmaster and Saitek are both well know brands for this kind of stuff. the Thrustmaster is about £60 new and I'd guess a but more for the Saitek, so as above probably ok value if you can get it for <£100.
However note that it's not got pedals with it. The Thrustmaster stick can twist for yaw control but it's he's properly in to his flight sims he's probably going to want pedals at some point
