Not sure what it is but spotted it yesterday as I was walking across London Bridge. There were a couple of tugs so its either just arriving or just leaving.

There was one a few years back. I remember as there is not enough room to turn around so it had to be towed backward though Tower Bridge.

We tied up next the HMS Belfast many years ago. I was working on an 80m tug that was converted to a private yacht. They had to lift the bridge for us. I remember Bob Geldof coming aboard for dinner in a Tuxedo, all toffed up. I remember thinking what a fake 🤥
I had great fun driving the Boss up and down the river in his 40ft Nelson Pilot boat tender.

History repeats itself - we trained the Japanese navy in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. And built their ships - history didn't repeat that bit.

Geldof "Sang" on HMS Ark Royal in 1986 when we were in Gib for the "Rock around the Rock" (or something like that) filmed in October but shown on TV at Xmas. When he came off stage we all shouted how close he was to certain weapons etc.......just scowled said fk off and ran off ......Oh we laughed.

Nice! Is she a Halmatic, or a Dale? I got the old Guvnors boat built at Dale in pembrookshire, she was a beauty. They're a bit wet, but they'll take you through anything!

Automarine of Bembridge. A proper Bembridge submarine.

We sort of got it free, big project.
