Hi all

Never been to Eastbourne airshow before but planning on going tomorrow or Sunday.

I see online that you have to book parking beforehand but wondered if this really is the case or can I just rock up early tomorrow and park and perch on the beach?

Any recommendations for a car park?

Anyone got any idea what time the aircraft arrive?

On a related note, was delighted to see a Mustang and the Lancaster when travelling about 3mph on the M25 en route to holiday today. Made it a bit more bearable.

Thanks

Whoops saw this too late! Hopefully you found out the answers although finding out start time wasnt easy.

Does anyone know what happens when aircraft dont perform for weather or mechanical reasons. DO they still get paid?

Also is there no Chinook display team this year?

It was pot luck really. We were at Pevensay Bay Saturday and saw the Grobs fly in and through bino's, saw a bit of the display albeit not really my thing.

Yesterday we drove up to beachy head and managed to get a parking space by the toilets and sit on the hill with a good view.

There was a big break between some of the display and it cleared out but we waited until the Typhoon which always blows me away.

Shame no Lancaster yesterday, not sure what happened there but we saw the Blenheim.

Was a lovely afternoon.

We saw the Lancaster in North Kent yesterday afternoon, after tracking it on FR. I thought it was going straight over our house, but then altered its course, to fly over the Thames over Gravesend. We had a glimpse of it around a mile away. Still a great thing to hear.
