Interesting because my Dad ended up as a Chief in the RN, and he took the divers "aptitude test" or equivalent in 1962 and decided it wasn't for him, but made a good few mates who went on to become RN Divers.
He frequently tells me they're the best trained in the world and it's a bloody tough job. I enjoyed the bit towards the end which basically says "We're using our guys as guinea pigs".
Be interesting to see if any of the fellas in the video come forward and relate their experiences!.
