Air racing moves from Reno, Nevada to Roswell, New Mexico
Discussion
National Championship Air Races 2025
How Roswell will cope with the influx remains to be seen. Only one airline (American) flies there, although one would think some air charters would be an option for air racing fans. Not that there is any shortage of airliners at the Roswell Air Center

Its going to have to be a very different event to the one at Reno. How Roswell will cope with the influx remains to be seen. There is minimal hotel accommodation in Roswell (less than a 1000 rooms) compared to the 470,000 hotel rooms in Reno....and outside of Roswell, you'd have to go to Albuquerque to find a significant increase in room numbers, and that's a 3 hour+ drive away.
Roswell really is in the middle of nowhere. The only spectators will likely be those with RV's, and by all accounts there's limited RV sites as well.
