Bloody hell. That certainly wasn't intended.

Looks like a control might have jammed.

Looks like a stall spin to my eye but I'll leave it the the CAA.

It certainly does look like a stall/spin to me too. However, you have to ask why the aircraft ended up in such a situation pretty much immediately after take off.

It will be the AAIB (Air Accident Investigation Branch) who will carry out the investigation so the wreckage will most likely end up here in Farnborough

Doesn't it say he bounced twice? i'd say he pull back to far off one of the bounces and stalled the wing and dropped to the left.

Nice to see that their first reaction was to check that they'd captured the crash on video, rather than whether they might be able to render any form of assistance.

What witchcraft are you employing? I get a "private video, go away" message.

Been made private now

Strange crash.. looked to be sharply banking doing an 180 after climb out, dropped a wing and went in. No power? I’m sure all data will be well recorded.

Light aircraft don’t carry flight data recorders.

The fancier multifunction displays do record a lot of information, if one was fitted it may yield helpful info.

Indeed. It could also be possible the pilot - like many in GA these days - was using an iPad running SkyDemon or equivalent. Or even simply had their mobile phone switched on. Even without a black box there are possible data sources.

Only as a result of the accident - likely to be too low to be effective anyway, I would think.

I know that so some information might be available. The Cirrus does have a "glass cockpit" so there might be some data salvageable from the wreck. Even the Flight Radar app (or similar) might provide some datsa.

I was referring to the specific hardened/crashproof type recorders which are mandated for passenger carrying aircraft over a certain size. Light aircraft do not carry those.
