I was curious and a bit of Googling resulted in this - nice, very nice...

Realistically I'm not planning on doing anything with her.
I had a buyer, who has paid me, but now says he cant take her, I had that in place before I closed the deal on the purchase as I didnt want to be stuck with her.
Yet, here I am. I've launched her onto facebook for not much, the tricky thing will be selecting someone that won't mess me about.

Not sure if serious or just really naive. I had a buyer, who has paid me, but now says he cant take her, I had that in place before I closed the deal on the purchase as I didnt want to be stuck with her.

You've bought some st old engines wrapped in tinfoil and now want to sell the tinfoil? GLWTS. You are your worst enemy. What state is the hull in? Any pics or a link to the broker page?
A 2001 pair of Yanmar 6lp ste 300hp with 230 hours, worth having.Edited by hidetheelephants on Friday 8th March 23:05
The ali hull is actually in really good shape.

Wonder if it would convert to electric power?
Thinking a couple of hefty electric motors to turn the props, a battery bank and a small diesel with a great big alternator.....
It could, but a planing hull is very inefficient at displacement speeds and aluminium hulls love to dissolve when exposed to stray electrical currents. Thinking a couple of hefty electric motors to turn the props, a battery bank and a small diesel with a great big alternator.....

Update.
I've got everything I wanted, notably the engines.
A chum has the vee drive gearboxes.
Another chum has a load of stuff for a Nelson 40 rebuild he's about to start, new anchor and 50 mtrs of new 10mm galv chain we found onboard, a large pair of Racors we found too.
The boat is very poorly, shame, she was an interesting design and well built, but lack of care has not been kind.
Scrap man taking her tomorrow.

I'm glad the good bits have been taken, still a shame the hull is going to the scrappy. I've got everything I wanted, notably the engines.
