Hi,
I have a couple of these fuel caps (I'm guessing) which I know came from ex RAF surplus. Would anybody happen to know what aircraft or drop tanks etc they were originally fitted to?

There are various markings including;
EB2 53.263
ISS 1B
C7670
EEP.676
They are each about 110mm dia.

Thanks in advance!

The bottom one looks like a Hawk gravity refuel cap, on the bag tank behind the cockpit, top one not sure but could be a variation of

That sounds great. I've tried looking it up, but as they are still in use it's doubtful that there is anything on line.
Thanks for your help!

Didn't we used to open them when we defuelled as there was no inward release valve?

For a military part I'd expect a NATO Stock Number (NSN) something like Z32-1234-99-123456 or however they go!

The format is, eg: 1630-99-163-1471

Quite often, parts don’t have the NSN, but they will almost always have the manufacturer’s own part number.
