But flightradar just showed two Typhoons, with nothing inbetween them...

Warlord flight of 3 out of Coningsby, played around in the Irish Sea for a while then headed to Leuchars. They don't always keep their transmit on hence not all were showing on the tracker. One of the frames in the flight was the infamous "Blackjack"

Is a 'frame' a plane, or have you got autoconfuse on?

Pedantic I know, but why 'infamous' rather than famous?
Sorry if it seems we've all got it 'in for you'!

Ah well, in my mind it is infamous - There is so much bleating in aviation enthusiast circles about "Blackjack being retired" (the airframe has almost done its hours) and how "sad it will be to see it go" - It's just a flipping colour scheme!!

Disappointing that they went to all that effort with the paint scheme then stuck a bog standard grey tank on it!
