'Pan-Am - Crossing the Pacific'
Discussion
Thanks for the heads-up.
This was definitely the “Golden Age” of air travel.
As an expat Kiwi, in a similar vein I can recommend the book “Coral Route” which traces the history of TEAL’s ( now Air Mew Zealand) Solent Flying Boat from Auckland > Suva, Fiji > Aitutaki Lagoon, Cook Islands > Papeete, Taihiti.
This service ran from 1951-60.

Thanks; the cheapest copy I can find is $100+, but in return I can recommend 'The Long Way Round': https://www.amazon.co.uk/Long-Way-Home-Revised-Jou...
