Small yacht rescue - Brixham Harbour
Discussion
I know Brixham harbour extremely well, Sailed in there a few times. Fresh fish from the fish market makes for a superb meal.
That was a pretty ballsy thing to do. If the tow had broken it could have gone pear shaped rapidly.
Many years ago before the marina existed as it is today I saw a fishing boat sink in a storm. The forward hatch had been left slightly open and the inevitable happened as waves came over the bow.
We were berthed in Yarmouth when the Fastnet started. We had a few casualties return there and sadly one yacht sank further out. Fortunately crew recovered.
