Catalina production to restart?

Hard to believe, but wonderful news if true. I just hope in modernising the design that Catalina Aircraft don't design out all the features that made the original PBY/Canso/Catalina such a versatile and long-lived design.

If they really are removing the struts and making the wing cantilevered, that is a massive re-design, although there are clear benefits to not having struts dunked in the water.
