Spey!

Just watched an update of the Noble backed water speed record attempt and they were testing the 205 Spey that was set aside should SSC have ever needed more power, it set the record with so called "standard" Speys.

I did not know that the engine lock stock and barrel was sold by RR to the Chinese!! the guy talks about some fascinating stuff about the 4 different turbine blades they used to get better reliability, and that some were not able to be sold lol!

I never knew RR sold entire tech to China, makes sense, it went in one of the mil jest too!
