Sywell Museum Grand Opening

Anyone else going? Looks like the weather will hold out and it should be a good day. According to the FB group there's a P51 flying in among other things.

Sywell Museum said:

The Grand opening will be supported by a display of numerous military vehicles, cockpits, model and book sales and military re-enactors.

Weather permitting, it is hoped that a number of interesting vintage aircraft will be paying a visit to the aerodrome during the day.

Entrance is entirely Free, but Sywell Aviation Museum relies entirely on the generous donations of its visitors to cover running costs and finance some future projects which are in the pipeline.

Yes there will be the chance to see the Hangar 11 Collection’s P-51D Mustang subject to weather and serviceability.

It's absolutely heaving!

Queues of about 30 mins to get in to the field to park. It's one narrow gate entrance, arriving and leaving cars go through the same gate. I'm not sure they expected it was going to be this popular
