Read earlier that Carolyn Grace, of the Grace Spitfire fame has been killed in a car accident in Australia.

Same way as her husband Nick in 1988, what’s ya luck hey,

Living fairly local to where the aircraft was keep we often saw her up in the skies , beautiful.

Blue skies Carolyn.

Very sad, but as a couple they left a marvellous legacy.

Quite so, impossible to think of them both without a smile and admiration - and occasionally a gasp.

Absolutely dreadful news. frown

I met her a few times at Waltham - a genuinely lovely person. Very sad to hear as well that her son Richard was in the car with her at the time and was also injured.

Heartbreaking for the family for her to go the same way as Nick, what a cruel twist of fate.

I believe she was Australian by birth.

So sad to hear this.
A great pilot & icon of the UK warbird community. Nice lady too. RIP

I met her a few times and flew in the Grace Spitfire about 15 years ago. A truly inspirational woman.
