Sunderland Airshow cancelled indefinitely

Just hearing Sunderland Airshow has been permenantly cancelled due to cost and environmental reasons.

It was the biggest free airshow in Europe and has been cancelled the last few years because of Covid but seems it won't return.

Shame.

Cancelled due to “net zero” targets……..idiots, the Chinese must be laughing their heads off as they open another new coal fired power station.

I did hear a rumour that the RAF might be going back to Leuchars so a possible airshow return.

Ooh I hope so, they sometimes fly over my house on the overland approach (about 10 miles out).
