Qatar airlines Comfort+ economy seat
Discussion
Hi, I have been offered the above on a 777-300 but am unsure what it actually is and cannot find anything on the internet about it.
Just wondering if anyone has any information on what it is?
When checking in i had the option of a normal seat, a preferred seat, extra legroom or comfort+.
My guess is a slightly wider seat as it is only 2 wide as opposed to 3 wide for the normal seats?
Thanks for taking the time to read and any input appreciated.

Have a look at Seatguru to see if you can identify the aircraft & it may tell you more about the seating.

Don't fly on a plane with 3-4-3 seat arrangement & the 787s are very uncomfortable as well. By far the best option is upper deck Economy on the 380, especially the rear two rows with two seats but you probably won't have access to those unless you are in the Privilege Club.

Edited as Note about 3 wide is incorrect it is 2-4-2 for comfort+ seating.
Flight is tomorrow, I have business for the second leg but economy for the first leg. It’s only 4.5hrs so not too bad but wondering if these were worth it versus £400 each for business for the first leg.
Had a look on seatguru and non of the layouts show economy with 3 wide at any point of the plane for Qatar 777’s.
Rang them on Skype but they didn’t seem to know which considering my experience on this whole trip isn’t surprising!

Right so a bit of an update and to help others if they ever do a search.
The comfort+ is like the really old Business Class on Airlines.
Nice big seat which had loads of width and leg room, plus a footrest and if you lay the chair back (not fully) then a further leg support comes from the front of the chair.
Preferred it over the now common Business Class to be honest as find when travelling with my partner that this feels very solitary experience.
Even without considering the cost (Business upgrade was £420 each vs £62 for the Comfort+) both my partner and I said we would go for this over the Business Class we were in for the outbound and second leg of inbound flight.

My fiancé just got off a Qatar flight from Brazil to Australia (via Doha). She upgraded to business on the outbound and stuck in standard economy on the way back.
They 'ran out' of drinkable water midway through flight which is rather poor form. Apparently it was forgotten to be loaded in Doha.
We're doing Sydney to Paris in June, I went to book Qantas business but fare is $16K!! so doing Emirates instead ($10K)

We've just been offered similar for the first leg of our return Maldives trip in May - Male to Doha. There's a suggestion on reddit the planes are leased from Cathay Pacific, prior to that it was a BA shed and this is basically the old Premium economy section.
I'm trying to make a horrible trip home better. We get kicked off the Island at 4am, speedboat to a nearby airport, domestic flight to Male then this flight to Doha, 2 hr layover then 7hr back to LHR.
This would take the sting out of it for £77 a pop. I've used up the avios on extra leg room for the second leg.
