Rumours that Flybe will cease trading at 11pm tonight.

A number of flights tonight have been cancelled - ground crew apparently telling staff that Flybe will not be operating tomorrow.

A great shame if another carrier has gone bust.

Would make sense given the bailouts they have had and coronavirus impact on flights. That being said, it's a business, so if it isnt profitable or sustainable then it's never really going to survive.

Still showing as ‘scheduled’ on the website, but I think you’re gong to need alternative arrangements. Sad for the staff to be sure, always a friendly bunch (carry on bag sizing changes excepted), but also a pain losing useful flights from smaller airports, in my case also ABZ.

Can anybody step into the gap and fill the routes I wonder. Lots of places it'll be awkward to get to without them.

Surely now just a matter of a rebrand and Virgin Connect will take to the skies leaving the old debts behind..

It's incredible the way some people are so unaware of what's going on around them that they still turned up at airports this morning.
