HMS Prince of Wales
Discussion
Had a great tour around the Prince of Wales yesterday courtesy of the Commander.
I served on the old Ark Royal, Invincible and Illustrious so was interested in the sheer scale of the ship.
The banter had started already with him referring to the QE as 'The Prototype' and 'Ugly Sister'..

What with an F35 taking off from the QE yesterday, and now this, it's like we have some armed forces again.
The investment in kit since we went into Afghanistan and Iraq has been pretty significant, but new troop transports and reccy vehicles arnt as impressive on the world stage as carriers and jets. Could be worse, too, Belgium's vehicles can't be driven by anyone above 5ft 7! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-50864567
Nice pictures, thanks.
Currently at anchor off the Isle of Wight with a technical fault, said to be a propeller shaft. Not going to the USA right now.
