Lovely bloke, met him when I was studying Aero Engineering. He took three of us at a time up in a Piper Seminole that BAe had at Dunsfold and did various manoeuvres we had to make notes on. The wings were tufted with wool for flow visualisation. He treated us all as in a down to earth manner with no airs and graces. Sad to hear he has gone.
