Just seen that the Harrier / AV8B has been confirmed for this year show.
I have a feeling we are in for a truly memorable airshow season.

I need to book my tickets for this. I intend to go on the Friday because I like touring the exhibition halls.

Yes, not sure why as I'm not in today, they were due in a few weeks back but the weather stopped them.

I'm hearing it's press day? So maybe some information will be forthcoming about key participants.

There was also lots of loud bangs going on just after I posted, all coming from that direction
Towards the airfield, wonder if that was related to there display, was very loud

I’d like to attend but close to £40 for a trade show is crazy last time I went I was a guest of Boeing so was unaware how expensive it was!!

Went with Mrs P last time on the Friday. The exhibition halls were interesting but completely packed with school kids asking the reps stupid questions. It wasn’t easy to work your way around so wouldn’t bother with it again.

The air display on the other hand was great. We were in an area next to the runway with deck chairs and a bar great place to spend a few hours. Still distinctly remember the A400M doing a near vertical take off.

I'm the opposite. I don't rate the Farnborough flying display these days but enjoy the halls, ESPECIALLY when the kids are there.

Is that for Saturday and Sunday or does it include Friday too (technically Friday is a trade day)?
