Open Skies flights.

I have seen from time to time over the last couple of years reference to Open Skies flights over the UK.
For those who do not know, this is when a foreign power sends photographic aircraft over areas to see what we have.
Seems it's not just the Russians that overfly the UK.
There is an American OC135b based out of Brize at the moment, which surprised me.

at makes you thin the OC135 is based at Brize to overfly the UK. Surely it can fly anywhere from Brize?

Regardless of where it is goin, doesn't make much sense to be at Brize Norton, rather than RAF Mildenhall. Perhaps they are picking up passengers, or conducting some training with RAF personnel? Otherwise, go to the USAF base that has other -135 varients for parts and maintenance.
