Wonder what happened with this one?

Was the car half way across or spun around?
lucky escape - minor injuries

That's fairly local to me (I used to cross there twice a day & have seen some pretty poor driving in the area) & had two immediate thoughts:
- OAP fails to realise cars are waiting at crossing, assumes they are just more parked cars, drives up outside;
- Eastern European factory worker (for reasons of drunkeness, machismo, and/or different "culture") willing to chance a SPAD.
Local rag (Cambridge News) reported the driver as female, so I'm thinking more likely the former.
