Wooden boats update 2018.
Discussion
How are the PH wooden boat owners getting on?
Huntsman is in the water, has been all winter, about to move from Cowes to Yarmouth for summer, needs a bit of antifoul and varnish which I'll do in a while when its warmer.
Fairey launch is stuck in the lock up on the mainland with the rowing skiff, need to buy a house with a garage and get them both moved over.
I would love to have a go at this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fishing-houseboat-proje...
Imagine hooking out that Gardner and rebuilding it. I'd love that!

Not going quite as well for us. Sadly my father-in-law died (aged 89, so he did well) at the end of last year leaving his 13 ton Hillyard refit unfinished. We are still struggling to finish off the jobs because of weather and all the associated paperwork. Our Hamble One needs lifting and antifouling quite urgently but so far this year we have been similarly limited by weather and having to go to work now father-in-law isn't around to help us organise the very fast lift and launch we need.
