"Man dies in Heathrow Taxiway crash"
Discussion
Doesn't sound very nice, though it hasn't affected the runway operation
Two airport vehicles have crashed "on the taxiway" and one of the drivers has died

Airfields have strict speed restrictions which are enforced quite heavily. Lose your airfield driving permit and you’re out of a job so I doubt it’s speed related.
I would suggest it was more likely that the driver was taken unwell at the wheel and then crashed into the other vehicle.

Do you have to wear your seat belt too?I think the same is the case at Heathrow as well. Certainly my company enforces that drivers and passengers must always wear seatbelts in the vehicles.
A BA engineers has died, very sad indeed. From the photos online it appears that the other vehicle involved was a Heathrow Airport Airfield "yellow peril" vehicle, Shogun or Land Cruiser type.
Heathrow does have some 30mph stretches of limit within the boundary but the phrasing in the in the news report this has happened close to T5 by the taxiway, so probably a 20mph zone
