It's alright, they always land on their feet anyway!

The cat actually did everything right. It knew that it couldn't stay on where it was, so before it got too tired it clawed its way along the wing towards the only relatively safe thing it could see - the humans - and got close enough to be spotted. And then, extra clever, it didn't try to jump into their laps because the slipstream made its trajectory uncertain.
Had it not made it into visual contact, it would have fallen off unseen and fallen to its death. A very smart, cool-headed cat!

Skyranger microlight, only certified for 1 passenger!
If the doors had been on the cat may have jumped down into the cockpit instead of cowering in the wing, it may have then made a beeline into the tail section away from the noisy engine which would have had an interesting affect on the weight and balance!

Makes you wonder how many times it has happened in the past, and we never knew.....Had it not made it into visual contact, it would have fallen off unseen and fallen to its death. A very smart, cool-headed cat!
