RAF armourers are not generally known to be the sharpest knife in the draw hence GG Girl quoting the song. Their knuckles are routinely checked for floor contact....

Sometimes I would have liked to have worked in the armoury, just to play with all the guns in there. The one at Brize seemed to be chock full of Soviet-era weaponry the one time I had access inside.

Armourers are special, they require lots of 'special thanks' and always moan about how hard they are worked especially out in afghan! We, the other trades, obviously do nowt out there.
