Inside RAF Brize Norton - Sky 1 HD 21st Nov

Guys,

Just a heads up for all of you. Sky 1 HD will finally be showing the documentary 'Inside RAF Brize Norton' on Thursday 21st Nov.

It'll show pretty much everything that goes on behind the gates including a lot on the withdrawal of the VC10, Herc airdrops and showing the new voyager in all its glory (I've seen a few previews they showed to everyone involved in making it)

I was filmed for quite a bit of it too so you may even see my ugly mug doing my everyday job!

Thought you guys might like a heads up.

You working shift? I got followed as part of 1amw on a task to Sweden and Scotland, miked up, interviewed, camera constantly in face etc etc. Just know I'm gonna get slabbed and come across as an idiot or something. Still, 5 mins of fame!

Thankfully never really been involved with the passenger side of things. Don't envy the guys who do, I'd rather stick to loading the things thank you. Much more satisfying and less back chatting!

Brilliant - my grandad used to take me to the end of the runway for a nose at Brize Norton ~25 years ago.

Have set myself a 'never miss' reminder for it.

I was thinking the exact same thing!! I don't miss South Cerney one bit!!
