Two Apache helicopters hovering around East Midlands airport three days ago.

Now I hear two Tornados or Typhoons landed at Manchester airport this morning.

What's that all about..?

I saw the two jets on finals into Manchester today, I believe there is some celebration going on tomorrow so it might be tied to that.

Yes, somebody said 75th anniversary.

Sorry about the Tornado/Typhoon reference, I will educate the culprit with a boot up the arse.

I seen a jet today about 14:45 over the M62/ Sankey.
Have never seen one in the area before.
I live on the Mersey and see them fly over the river however alot.

Had a single jet fly low low level over ours (West Lancs nr J27 M6) at about the same time. Was sizeable, defo not a Hawk so assumed it was a Tornado or Typhoon.
