Bareboat Charter - Med. Comp Crew only.

Can't find the thread but.. Is there anywhere in the Med that will let me hire a sailing boat without a "Day Skipper" ticket? I have passed the RYA Comp Crew, as has my son, on a 40' Bavaria Vision but I have not yet completed the Skippers ticket. I have done quite a bit of dinghy sailing (GP14) and have a narrowboat so quite au fait with things generally. I'd love to take the family for a week this year but don't have time to finish the course (theory part of DS).
Any suggestions?
(wouldn't mind a sort of "floatilla" but don't want anyone on board apart from family).

A mate of mine used to charter from them with his girlfriend. And they didn't even have comp crew between them. It is a flotilla holiday, but after a day's instruction they were left to get on with things and follow the leader without intervention unless they were having obvious problems.

Me and Mrs R1 did this last year and took a Bav 36.A mate of mine used to charter from them with his girlfriend. And they didn't even have comp crew between them. Only I have comp crew many others in the flot didn't even have that.

Just back from a week bobbing around Corfu.
24-25 C all week with clear blue skies.
Had a great time and would definately go again and would recommend Sailing Holidays.
Very laid back and if they could see you coping, you were left to get on with it. Not much wind, so a few days motoring only but the weather made up for it. Family now converted and would go back. Sailed on our own through the day, stopping off at a deserted cove for lunch and swimming before meeting up at the next port of call where you could do your own thing or join the group.
Even caught a Tuna!
