What did I just see?

Flying overhead this afternoon - what looked like a miniature Stealth Bomber being followed by a light aircraft (Cessna type thingy) I guess the plane was a 2-seater and the other thing was about half the size of the small plane. The following plane was keeping a steady distance - so I wondered if the object in front was being controlled from the plane? Some sort of radio-controlled model?
