I'm following this flight Edinburgh to Malaga on Radar 24 ... the plane appears to be doing circuits over Leeds ... anyone know what's going on ?

Looks like it's landed at Leeds/Bradford

Seems that it diverted SE of Liverpool.

G-CELP landed at LBA (no emergency squawk was given) and the flight is now underway again as EXS857A with C-GDFM doing the honours. Incidentally, I live and work about 10 miles from LBA. Will have a nosey and see if I can find anything.

Thanks MT - it was flying around for over 2 hours before landing at LBA, so something must have been up

There was no emergency squawk and plenty of time to fly in circles burning fuel off and reading the handbook, so my money would be on a non-urgent tech fault.

I've been told that the undercarriage came down expectedly.
