Hi all,

We've just had a Chinook fly over, very close behind it was this aircraft :



Almost looks Airbus like but couldn't see any markings..

Anyone know what it could be?

Reckon that's a Voyager (Airbus A330 MRTT)

So this is the most expensive tanker aircraft in the world then? hehe What happens if the RAF's fuel card runs out of credit mid-war? wobble

This is the aircraft that was being converted to the tanker role at Cobham in Bournemouth. After two aircraft were completed, the work went to Spain, british guys lost jobs because of this fiasco frown I seem to recall the Nimrod fiasco too, more highly skilled jobs lost.
