Very nice - always liked the Bristol Channel Cutter
They always remind me of the rather lovely Dutch Royal Yacht, Groene Draeck

I didn´t think 395 was crazy money. I'm wondering what she would bring in for charter.
Pie in the sky really, as the property market here in Mallorca is crap right now, and I´d have to sell a brick anchor to buy her.
But with my current job teetering in the balance, and my searches for something else don´t seem to be coming up with much because, of my age, (apparently
) I´m trying to think of something else to do.
I think I would enjoy running that old girl for day charter. Dream on....

But it´s a hand built wooden boat.
A 40ft Nelson Pilot boat would cost that money with a few electronics thrown in.
What would it have cost to build? That´s a lot of man hours. You have to pay for quality.
Sell the house I´ve just about finished reforming, pay the mortgage off, buy that beauty, rent my apartment out and live on the boat. Do a bit of day charter. I´m dreaming again... What you´d make on charter may cover the varnish bill

Oh my!
More pretty boat porn please!
In reality, I have to finish my little 26 footer. I had a bust up with the painters today, it´s been a long time coming. A snide remark set my pressure valve off.
I told them to get their gear out of the tent. An hour later, a very apologetic phone call, and the sky blue is going on the hull tomorrow...
I digress, back to more pleasant thoughts.
It´s my dream to get my lady out on the water in my little Olsen, all being well, one day we can go cruising in something like PA. I enjoy varnishing by the way

How´s this for coincidence.
This beauty tied up to the fuel quay 20 meters from the boat I work on today!

They´re here to do charter! I´ll definitely be one of the first paying guests
