Aircraft Magazine

I'd like to subscribe my father to an aircraft magazine. He has a general interest in aviation, leaning toward small private, vintage and military aircraft (past and present) rather than the latest news on 787 batteries and first flight test reports on the A350.

What do you read? Could you provide a recommendation?

Not picked up one of these mags for a while, but Aeroplane probably fits your (Dad's) bill . . .

I'd also recommend Aeroplane Monthly. Flypast isn't bad either. Both magazines concentrate on the historic aviation scene.
