Just booked my tickets for next weekend - hoping to see the Vulcan flying for the first time (for me), probably the last too.

Is it gonna fly? I thought it had been put to bed indefinitely?

We are heading there also, last time I saw a Vulcan flying I think they were still front line aircraft!

Got a nice new camera for Xmas to try out too :-)

Barring mechanical problems, XH558 is confirmed to display.

We have tickets for Cosford and Waddington, have to give the kids chance to see the Vulcan in what is to be her final flying season (baring a miracle).

we usually get there for not long after it opens (8:30) it's in the FAQ's

What time do the gates open?

The gates are open to the public at 0830 AM.

What time does the flying display start?

Aircraft will be operating from Cosford for most of the morning. At about 10:45 am there will be a display of large model aircraft which will lead into the main display commencing at around midday. The detailed planned flying programme will be published in the Souvenir Programme (£5); available when you arrive on site.

Thanks for that, I found the FAQs part after asking. Had a major ear bending going on from 'out of room' when I asked, minor panic set in...
