Goodbye old friend....... :(

In all fairness a real nice couple who purchased her and they were genuinely excitied about the purchase. So she will continue to be improved and personalised so good luck to them.
Tried selling her on my own through the usual sites, got hacked off with timewasters so gave her to boatshed who sold it within a week or so.
I will never try selling a boat on my own again, now always through a broker, its just a matter of negotiating the right deal with the right broker

It's weird. Try to sell a boat privately for, say, £10K and nobody's interested. But take it to a broker and people happily pay £12K.
My last boat sold in 3 days - but the broker wouldn't shift on terms. Fair enough, they're good at what they do and they did it. And they jetwashed it too, which was nice

That is why there is a gap on Trowlock Island !
A friend is trying to sell a similar craft ( moored up on Ravens Ait ) I will tell him to give those people a try.

But back to your friends boat..... is it the steel hulled boat up for £55,000? if so, I believe it could be overpriced by £10k, but you never know, Boatshed could sell it.
