Slipway Launching Nice/Monaco

Afternoon Chaps,

Has anyone experience of launching a trailer boat in South of France? Ideally Monaco but reasonable distance either way with a good accessible slipway and what are the rules etc?

Any advice gratefully received.

There's a slipway at Fontvieille, haven't used it so can't comment on regulations but have done garbage runs in the harbour and remember it being there...

Being France, plenty

Over 6.1hp needs ICC, Insurance, Bill of Sale showing VAT paid, probably some other stuff - all accessible on board.

I'd look into all of this, plus radio/coastguard comms, language, etc etc.

I'm pretty sure you don't pay extra tolls on the autoroute though, towing a trailer

There's a slip at Port de Cap d'Ail and another at the Quai Napoleon III in Menton which I think you can use, but I'd check before driving down there!

Perhaps the more important question given it's Monaco, is where can I leave my car and trailer after I've dipped the boat?

You need a boat big enough to put them on...

When exactly are you doing this?? Next week is the MYS and it will be rammed, otherwise you can drive up to the edge of Beau soleil, leave the car up there on the side of the road and get a bus back down.
