Really matt black, or just standard IRR green that looked black due to the lighter background of the sky?

Pretty confident they were black. I did take a double look thinking was it dark green not black.

Junc 1 of the A14 They were heading East so possibly en-route to Lakenheath Mildenhall.

We get the green ones over all the time.

I've also spotted at night two heli's together, one lights on and one lights off. I guess they'll be training for Afghanistan etc....

Are you sure they were not very very very very very dark blue?
