Er....

I rather fancy a pair of the brick red yachting trousers that fade to pink after a while.

Mrs Huntsman says that at 37 years and 36 months old I'm too young for a pair.

What do we think?

(Is this Garlick and the mustard cords all over again?)

We tried introducing nice colours into our range of Flying Clothing (www.aero-ist.co.uk) as everywhere else only did Black or navy.

We found that people only bought Black or Navy, so that is mainly all we stock now....

Do you also have a desire for a defaced ensign?

Unfortunately the original site has been pulled down. You'll have to remove the space from the link as well.

Is that the type of look you are going for? hehe

Canterbury Clothing Company troos used to be all the rage in my day, a buddy had a nice faded set of reds, I only ever had blue.
Quite good for general sailing but the gussetts never stood up to abuse.
Especially when faded the gussetts used to give way too easily.
I lost count of the gussetts I went through.

I had many pairs of them in the 80's as they were all the rage, I never likes sailing in them, when you did the zip at the bottom they were too bunched up to get into my wellies.

Almost, almost bought myself a pair from Hackett, but couldn't quite bring myself to jump the gap from one from who giggles at red trousers to one who wears them.

Also I believe you have to be a member of the RYS or at least RORC to wear without ridicule.
