My brother-in-Law and I bought a Tempest 44 in Rhodes some years back, and we hopped it back 1600nm accross the Med to Palma Mallorca.
We Knicknamed ourselves "Sprocket and Hubs" all the way back! laugh
We also got pulled a lot by tooled up Customs Guys in fast ribs, and some serious gunboats on the way back!

laugh Tell me! We thought we where cool. Spent 6k on fuel to get it back though.
Ours was more like this one without the sportfishing gear.

Kept it about three years, good fun, but not a good boat to be honest. The two 420 hp Cats where nice though.
Although I'd prefer the Scarab wink

Nice looking 26" Crocket!cool
The Tempest was a heavy boat, so she would only manage about 40knts. The Cats, sounded nice when the Turbo's kicked in, and the T-Torque drive kicked up a nice rooster tail. cool
Regards, Sprocket. smile
