......this type of fitting:

Spec: 25mm 90º Round Base With Grub Screws.

This might be just the thing to anchor a tube, which measures 25.5mm Ø.

If anyone here has worked with these fittings & the associated tubes, do you think this will work?

I've been caught out before with ID/OD & tears of fail.

Thanks in advance smile

Looks like a wardrobe rail fitting from B&Q. If that's what it is, either take the tube in to B&Q and try it, or buy the part, try at home and return if unsuitable.

It's a marine fitting you peasant biggrin

This is the equivalent from B & Poo & will not do the job.

I might have one at work. Use them as flagstaff mounts for the smaller boats. I can have a look in a few days when I'm back.

It will work ok, what is the tube for ? I had these fittings for a handrail and they were fine.

Not it the last one I had was anything to go by.

I need the fitting to suspend a shower rail from the ceiling.

Other issues are that the B&Q one is chrome, will not match rest of the rail as it's stainless & if anything like their chrome shower rails, will rust.
