Route it Great Malvern to Brighton (First Great Western)

Im planning on going on going to Bristol to see the SS Gt Britain, seemed only fitting it should be in a proper train

Afraid to say it's a class 158 usually, see it occasionally in Brighton if I'm running late for work, think that train runs once a day, or maybe only a few times a week.

Paddington to Bristol is all HST, all the time. After a ride on one of those crappy DMUs, it's a lovely feeling to look out of the window and realise you are moving with no perceptible noise or shunt.

Yeah Worcester to Paddington is 125, over 3 hours last time i did it but as train journeys go pretty nice..and you get to arrive at the awesome Paddington station

Oh well then, no nice train to go and see IKB's big boat

FGW HSTs will only visit Brighton on very very very rare occasions (yet to happen), as there is no need. Plus FGW have a mix of SSL and LSL (short and long swing link stock) coaches. The former arent allowed on 3rd rail lines.
