Jetski - Seadoo XPS 2 Stroke Oil

Hi chaps,

Can anyone suggest the best place to get Seadoo/Bombardier XPS 2 Stroke fully synthetic oil? (I have a Rotax GTX-DI powered Seadoo).

No Bombardier Oil... unfortunaltely it has to be that exact oil!

Generally I've found if they don't stock it, they'll get it - worth asking

I've had a few obscure requests for them and they've come through every time - jetski included (though not seadoo).

Just spoken to them - Nice guy and helpful.

They cant get the Bombardier in.
He made reference to "Motul Spec Di Jet 2T" (which actually says its designed for Seadoos) but its more expensive than the Bombardier's own oil .

Only thing was that after that, he recommended a cheaper alternative to this - A "tcw-3" rated oil. Luckily I know that this is for Outboards and is a big no-no for Rotax DI engines (could possibly have been an engine re-build job!!!!)

Just to update the thread (incase it's useful to anyone else) I've just ordered a crate of Bombardier XPS Fully Synthetic 2T (3 x 3.8L bottles) for £130 + delivery (usually £51.18 for 1 x US Gallon).

The price difference in the Motul oil doesnt justify the risk (to me at least).

- and I'll definately use Opie in the future as it's bookmarked now... very impressive product variety. Thing is MOST people who dont specifically know the requirements of the Rotax DI recommend TCW-3 Outboard Oil - including 99% of the Chandlery's I tried to get it from last weekend.

I did find a Carlube API-TC oil (£6.99 per litre too) but haven't got the balls to try it!

No one sells the Bombardier stuff in Essex that I can find

could have done with seeing this a few days ago before paying £53 for 4 litres of oil for my seadoo GTX RFI. Only place i could find it local to me was shore play in herne bay. When i was looking there was very little information on what i needed to get but plenty of horror stories of skis needing rebuilds after using the wrong type.
Even the guy in the shop had to ring around to make sure what he was selling me was correct. O well i know where to go for it next time cheers.

No worries! Glad to be of help.

All I can say is that if someone refers to it as "outboard oil" or try selling you TCW3 then they probably dont know what they're on a about!
