Grumman Albatross.

I think this must be what I saw this evening as I was driving over the Severn Bridge at about 6.25-6-30pm. I could what looked like an seaplane flying along the River Severn over the bridge, and it was a dark blue, and had a lot of yellow on the tail. I was a bit dumbfounded as to what it could be, but I wasn't close enough to get a positive ID, but there can't be many seaplane/amphibians flying around that part of UK at pretty much that time frame.
Pretty sure its N98TP which seems to be at Lee on Solent. A friend spotted it around the M4/A34 junction on Friday.

This just flew right over me, heard something coming which sounded spicier than the usual stuff that flies over so stuck my head out the door to see this biggrin

Didn't have this sound in my mental library. Think I'm right that it's the fastest single proper engine plane. Sounded pretty cool.

Used to be. Now it’s the Epic E1000 GX for production aircraft.

Although modified aircraft will exceed the speed of those.

There is a Russian special flight squadron, IL-96-300, halfway across the Atlantic, enroute from Moscow to JFK. Any ideas folks?

This one must be in the mix too. And it’s got a very impressive range!

It’s interesting how the A330 has evolved.

I believe that there must be a mistake, it is surely not a 330-200: it must be the all-new 330-50 MEOW

Years ago doing some trials on Salisbury Plain, one of the signals guys realised you could change the symbols on Bowman, and for a while it was showing a submarine prowling around the plain. Maybe it's back and the Portuguese are hoping to find it? confused

This pair have been duelling for a while now. Seems an unfair fight a Cessna and a Eurofighter. Venom 23 and Venom 21

Training flights, Military helicopter training base is near there, I do wonder if Ukrainians are being trained, maybe prior to the gift a number of apaches, top cover F16 and apaches would be an interesting combination.......

I enjoy this time of year with so many helicopters going in and out of the area around Glasto...always seem to be quite a few landing nr big private house.........I guess owners rent them out to VIP's for silly money and go on holiday for a couple of weeks.

Thought this sounded tasty. Was on a call unfortunately and didn't get to see it.

ETA - according to Wiki this is one of only 22 still airworthy.

Noice, although the ADS-B avatar looks more like an A20 Havoc aka Boston to me. Fairford > Duxford.
