Just opened up ADS-B for a quick look before turning the PC off, and saw this. Checked and Joe is on his way from DC to LA.

May be a carrier operating off Whitby could be a merlin AW and the two TOPNOT aircraft are simulating attacks against a battle group

Just heard these go overhead. F15 (at least one, possibly more), KC10 and KC135 in close formation heading South West.

What were these? Over St Neots at 12.50pm today. Nothing on Flight Tracker or ADS-B.

ETA I think I’ve found the answer - 5x f15 fighters dc10 tanker and a k35r ? (Posted on a local FB page)

Looks like more F15s heading home today?

Can see a flight of F15s, plus a KC10 & KC135 heading South West.

It seems they did a couple big loops around us and then joined up behind the KC's that were following. Unfortunately it was overcast so could only hear them.

Thanks to Bonefish Blues for sharing this thread on an F1 topic.

Cool thread, I can spend ages on FlightRadar watching what's about. I live in Huddersfield and under the flight path for Manchester, Leeds Bradford, and Liverpool so have plenty to follow.
