Royston - Good Pubs?

Me and the wife are hopefully moving to Royston next month (If solicitors pull their fingers out!)

Can anybody recommend any good pubs in town? I have only been to the Green Man before when live bands have been on.

Dunno about the pubs in Royston but the Chinese near the main car park is good and the King William PH in nearby Heydon is very very good for food.

i lived there for many years and cant really say there is any good pub in the whole town. (well what i class as good pub)
