Bad traffic in Hemel and Harpenden

As title says really, anyone know why its so busy recently? Major road closed anywhere?

Very annoying, especially the Redbourne Road!

Police closed the A41 in the Tring area on Saturday evening, it caused chaos for miles around;
my 50 minute journey to North London took 1 hour & 50 minutes!

There was an accident on th A41 twixt tring and chesham on Saturday and it was indeed closed by the bib.

Harpenden is full of ladies wot lunch in 4x4's doing their makeup and chatting about stuff while telling their kids off.

It's almost as poncy as Chelsea, but there's a great sunglasses/glasses shop there, Harpenden Eye Centre.
