Hourly van hire in Milton Keynes

Okay, went along to local van company this wwekend to ask a bout van hire. They want £68 for a lwb van for the day but I only need it for about an half an hour. Asked them about half day rates and they siad I could take it for half a day, but it would still cost £68.

Does anyone here know somewhere in the Milton Keynes area that will hire a van on an hourly rate. Only need it to move a large sofa about two miles.

Might have to be a man and a van at this rate. The helping hands which I though I had have bailed out. Thanks for the heads up on Europcar though. Good to know for future reference though.
